A gorgeous and rare Audi 80 Sport, The Audi 80 Sport in the UK was imported from Germany as a GTE and then changed to a Sport buy adding distinctive grey sport seats, rear spoiler, additional VDO gauges and a few other bits and pieces, this car has the optional Ronal 14" alloy wheels which have been powder coated and are in fantastic condition, as are the tyres, this car has an optional factory sunroof. This is a very very genuine example and kept very original, the exterior is excellent for it's age, I can see that a smart repair was made years ago on the drivers side which could be easily corrected but does not bother me, very very sold and no rust underneath, a couple of edges at the bottom of the rear wheel arches could do with some attention at some point, there is a minute hole on the scuttle panel but no other rust around it, again an easy repair if it bothered you. I have used this car for weeks daily and it starts on the button every time and is a pleasure to drive, the 1.8 K-Jet injected engine (same as the mk1 Golf GTi) is crisp, performs well and burns no oil, no leaks either, it sits on adjustable SPAX coilover suspension, the only thing I can fault when driving is worn trailing arm bushes which I have here and will replace them before she leaves me. There is a box of spare parts in the boot which will go with the car. The car is now registered as Historic meaning the Tax is free, MOT tests are not required, it is ULEZ complaint and very cheap to insure, it is also very good on fuel. The car comes with a big file of paperwork, two keys too, reading through the documents it is pretty much all relating to replacing serviceable items i.e. hoses, plugs, distributor cap, calipers, bushes and so on.

This car is always admired and people will come up to you and want to talk about it! this is not a show car but is a very original and solid example that can be used daily.
