Description

This is a very special car and for a number of reasons, it's condition, it's provenance, it specification and also this build has created what I would consider to be the perfect usable touring spec and with over 200BHP a wonderful drivers machine, forgive me for saying this but its a too good example of me and while it would be fun on the track again its probably too nice. Built by Warrior Automotive Research in 1993 and then certified by Caterham in September 1993, Caterham have stated themselves that this car is built to a very high standard. The engine was built again by Warrior Automotive (megga spec) and then re-built by the legend that is John Noble (John Noble Engines/Sportcars), The base engine is a Vauxhall 2.0 Red Top running on twin Webber 45's and using a bespoke loom and ECU, the engine has a Caterham dry sump system, I am assuming the gearbox is a type 9 with a lovely shift, De Dion rear suspension, I do not believe it has a lsd. Just two previous owners and the car has only covered just over 500 miles over the past twenty years! Not only is the standard of the build superb but also the condition, I have a stack of Caterham invoices for all sorts from wish bones, bushes, carbon stone guards and much more, very comfortable type 'S' leather seats and tunnel cover, Moto-Lita Steering wheel, tinted and heated windscreen, the 16" "Wagen Wheels" are in as new condition and shod with tyres that are all but new, Bilstein shocks. The car is flat floored and the bodywork is exceptional and a gorgeous colour "Ecurie Ecosse" which I understand is an old Jaguar racing colour. The car is built to the specification of a Caterham HPC but higher and more power, I cannot tell you how good this car is to drive but if you know you know! She has a full hood which is in good condition, I have a few Caterham's and honestly believe the balance of this one is perfect. It has an immobiliser and two sets of keys etc. Just MOT'd. Worst points, a few small stone chips (I have ordered a touch up stick), the oil pressure sensor needs replacing (I have replaced the gauge), two door pins are missing and I sense the absolute smallest exhaust blow but it is minute.

Please telephone me directly on 07920 024631 if you have any questions at all or if you would like to arrange a viewing, I have all the documents supporting the above and in addition have the assembly guide too.
