We recently purchased a Nissan Qashqai from Cooper Cars. Excellent service from the initial viewing, test drive and purchase. Very quick to get back to us with any questions we had, car was serviced and Mot carried out prior to us collecting the car. Friendly, well informed professional staff. Absolutely amazing service. I purchased a mitsubishi L200 from the guys at Cooper's Cars and I cannot fault their service. I went to view the truck and took it for a test drive, there was no hard sale they were there walking around the car with me pointing out the minor cosmetic defects with the truck and assured me that they would be corrected before the truck was sold (and they were).
I wanted to part exchange my car in the deal, which still had finance outstanding on it. The guys at Cooper's Cars took this on and settled the outstanding fiance for me when I traded my car in, the finance was settled very quickly in the days following trading my car in and collecting the L200.
There was some minor cosmetic damage that I asked about getting repaired before I purchased the truck. The guys at Cooper Cars looked into this for me, it was beyond their usual bodywork guy and needed to go elsewhere. They asked for a contribution towards the bill but they picked up two thirds of it themselves which was amazing.
On the day of collection they made everything so simple and and the L200 looked amazing it was gleaming. Sorted all the paper work and the part exchange, it couldn't have been easier. I've even sent them some emails since just asking a few questions (some a tad stupid on my part I'll admit) and they were rapid to reply with an answer (no matter how stupid may question was 😅).

I recently purchased a Renault Captur and I couldn't fault the services the staff at Coopers Cars provided. The team were friendly, polite and informative. The condition of the car was immaculate when I picked it up - it was like I was driving away in a brand new car. The mechanics attended to the minor concerns I had and the valeting staff exceeded my expectations. During my hunt for a new car, it was important to me that I chose a dealership which I felt I could trust - Coopers Cars definitely lived up to this expectation. I would highly recommend!!

Excellent service provided for our Peugeot 3008 which had many new parts fitted including the steering rack. This had a manufacturer fault, which was replaced without question and now runs perfectly.

Coopers Cars ensured the car went out at a high standard, ensuring it had an MOT and service and making sure any due maintenance was up to date before handover.
Our car developed a common from factory fault, that can occur at any random time or never. Coopers cars had no hesitation in helping and sorting the issue l, the car has been perfect since.

Picked up a hyundai tuscon on Friday. Tony and his colleagues were really friendly people. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very fair with what they were selling. Sometimes you worry about buying a car from a place you've never heard of or been to but after viewing my car online and coming down to view it we were met with a warm welcome and had plenty of time to test drive and ask questions without being pushed into a quick sale like a lot of salesmen like to do. Having spotted our V60, late on a Friday afternoon & ringing Tony from Coopers Garage, we were able to arrange a viewing for the next day. We arrived at the garage & were greeted by the most accommodating car salesperson I think we have ever met! We didn't feel hurried, harassed or pressured at any point & bought our Volvo V60 there & then!! On arrival I was met by Tony who showed me around a black Land Rover Freelander 2 that I was interested in, he was very helpful and friendly giving me all the information about the car, he allowed me as much time as i needed to look around on my own, no sales pressure at all! I was very impressed with the presentation of the vehicle, being exactly as described and noticed the other cars on site all presented to a similar high standard on a really tidy premises. Tony took my BMW 3 series in part exchange acknowledging the condition of the car. On the day of collection my freelander had been serviced and was ready for me to drive away.Tony and Kyle made the whole car buying experience really enjoyable and relaxed.I would highly recommend Coopers Cars. Went to Coopers to look at a car I'd been after, in the colour I wanted and was amazed at how well presented it was. The salesman was knowledgeable and in no way pushy, and he didn't need to be as the car sold itself. When I went back a few days later to pick it up, they picked me up from the train station bang on time, and the car was all ready to go when we got back to the premises.
It looked, ran, and is still perfect on getting it home.
All in all a top service from a top team, they deserve every success and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a car.

Extremely helpful, not pushy at all, we went ot have a look at another car but bought something completely left field from them, all their cars were in great condition and have extensive checks. Plus they come with a 6 month warranty as standard... Which is 3 months more than any where else. They are so confident in the vehicles they sell. Also they spoke extensively about the cars they don't touch, and with out them knowing described my old 2.2 diesel Mazda as a car they wouldn't touch ... I wish I knew that 4 years ago 😫😫. I am not saying you have to buy a car from them but jesus at least give them a go.

Bought a Kawasaki Z750, from here off the main mechanic. Superb condition, very competitive price. Easy to work with some small very minor aspects need doing to the bike such as new brake pads etc, but that's to be expected, and was offered to be completed there, this was declined by me as I like to work on my own bikes and upgrade them abit.
Greeting was lovely and most importantly no slimy sales pitches, was honest and open. Even let me keep the bike there until Sunday to pick it up, put a fresh tank of fuel in aswell.
Overall if they were selling bikes I'd buy another one from there in a heart beat. Thank you had lots of fun riding back to Wales!!.
Update:
Had to lower the score rating to 4, when putting the bike through a through service as per normal the brake piston seals were corroded. Warranting a seal replacement and caliper rebuild, nothing major however more of pain and cost wise (bikes out of action for about 2-3 weeks). With due respect though it's an older bike and it's still in very good condition. However the service or MOT should have picked up on this. Still as said older bikes come with small and medium problems that need correcting.
I'm sure this could be a warranty job, but the bike is not rideable without seals so they in all fairness cannot even complete the work as I love 2:30 hrs drive away, even though I'm sure they would with no problem.

We have just (28/05/24) taken delivery of a Citroen Grand Picasso from Coopers. It is exactly the spec that I wanted, the only one I could find but unfortunately was ~250 miles away! Kyle arranged a video tour for us, alayed our concerns about making such a huge financial purchase unseen online and generally did his utmost to make the process as stress free as possible. There was the unavoidably worrying period between parting with said huge sum of cash and receiving the car but we now have a really low mileage £20/year roadtax picasso that looks to be in superb condition. Matt - who delivered the car to us - was quite charming too. My wife and I are delighted and we highly recommend Cooper's Cars.

I absolutely love my ford focus which I bought from Coopers Cars in September. I'd not come across this Company before, so was pleased to see the advert for the car on Auto Trader and another similar site. I checked reviews and hoped that they were as trustworthy as they sounded. I wasn't disappointed!! The car was just what I was looking for, at a price I was hoping for! Everyone at Coopers has been pleasant and helpful and the car was prepared and ready within a good time etc. A couple of weeks ago I asked if they could reset the Oil Service Reminder that had come on (as they would have done the service at the time of sale) and also if they could look at a small problem with rain leaking in slightly where the aerial is fitted to the roof. All sorted easily that same afternoon, no hassle!!!

Car was freshly motd fully valeted with a comprehensive service history was given a part x price on her old audi tt on arrival the tt was hpid and we were told that the tt was a cat d write off 😳 we had no idea the owner of the garage said he doesn't normally take them in but he'd honour the part x price he'd offered 😀👍
As we drove the new car away the engine management light came on so we went back and the issue was checked out advise given and engine code deleted
We then drove home the car drove great

Just bought a convertible mini from these guys. The whole process was relaxed and simple, just the way it should be. Everyone we spoke to was honest and up front. We paid a great price for a great car that was ready when they said it would be and perfectly presented with a fresh MOT, all work completed, warranty and break down cover.
All put to the test a week later when we had a overheating issue. Car was towed back to Coopers and fixed, free of charge the same day. I'm not naive enough to think that any used car is going to be issue free, it's the way that issues are addressed that make the difference between a good dealer and a great dealer.

Have also found "The team" at Coopers South West very helpful & caring. Bought a car from them last Nov 2021 which developed a small problem last week when I arrived at my work. Called the AA who recovered it back to Coopers for repair. Unfortunately the problem was not covered on the warranty, but they repaired it, gave it a thorough test & check at a reduced price for good will. Bought a Toyota Aygo from Coopers Cars, no presure selling, unaccompanied test drive (wife gets nervous test driving cars), all good, simple purchase process, car was ready when they said it would be, freshly serviced and mot'd. After much searching and decision of motor vehicle I found Coopers Cars to be the right choice for me. Having a wide selection of SUV motors which I was able to view and test, I was able to find my new motor and couldn't be any happier. Sale was very professional and all staff were very helpful and concise. Had a little issue with sound system after purchase and they were happy to take it back in to resolve at no extra charge.
All in all a very pleasurable experience and would highly recommend to anyone looking for their next motor.

Couldn't say a bad word about all the team at Cooper Cars. Bought my lovely Mini from them last year and since then they have been on hand to deal with one specific issue I had with it which was pre-existing so nothing to do with them as sellers, they handled totally professionally and wanted to fix it for me as soon as possible. I can't thank them enough and today James went above and beyond for me by changing the new part that it needed then changing a light that had gone, a new arial and even gave her a clean. Wouldn't recommend unless they were 100% genuine people with a friendly can do attitude. This will definitely not be the last time I visit if I have any car issues or look to purchase something new in the future.

I have just bought a nice Mini Countryman from Coopers Cars, I was very impressed with the whole buying process which was dealt with by Joe who is a professional and friendly salesman he puts your mind at ease with the whole buying process, on viewing the car I had an issue with some damage to the bodywork which we had a compromise on to which I was happy with. I cannot in all honesty express the total professionalism of this company, coupled with that is the warm welcome and assistance given by Joe, I recently bought a Ford Kuga from them (part exchanging my ford focus in the process), money was a bit tight and we haggled to an acceptable deal, there was no parcel shelf with the Kuga, and part of the deal was that Joe would try and source one for me, imagine my surprise 2 months later when Joe rang to say he had found me one, he even fitted it for me. Just bought a convertible mini from these guys. The whole process was relaxed and simple, just the way it should be. Everyone we spoke to was honest and up front. We paid a great price for a great car that was ready when they said it would be and perfectly presented with a fresh MOT, all work completed, warranty and break down cover.
All put to the test a week later when we had a overheating issue. Car was towed back to Coopers and fixed, free of charge the same day. I'm not naive enough to think that any used car is going to be issue free, it's the way that issues are addressed that make the difference between a good dealer and a great dealer.
Thank you guys for your great service. I have no hesitation in recommending you wholeheartedly to everyone. Will see you soon when it's time to trade up the other car.

Coopers is a very good place to buy a second hand car. The sales team was very helpful, let you browse around at ease & were very obliging. Have also found "The team" at Coopers South West very helpful & caring. Bought a car from them last Nov 2021 which developed a small problem last week when I arrived at my work. Called the AA who recovered it back to Coopers for repair. Unfortunately the problem was not covered on the warranty, but they repaired it, gave it a thorough test & check at a reduced price for good will. Myself & my husband have been very happy with the after sales service for the problem we encountered with my car and would like to Thank everyone there involved.😍

Bought a Freelander 2 (2013) from here nearly a month ago.
I was buying from a distance, and encouraged by these reviews got in touch, - Tony answered all my queries, - very helpful & friendly. - So, convinced, I placed a deposit and planned my trip to collect.
The car was immaculate and looked great when I arrived.
However, not long after driving back I noted an issue (I will note that this issue was not immediately obvious so understandably missed during testing). However, still obviously disappointing, and from previous used car buying experiences I was initially concerned about how this would be dealt with - But, as 5* review suggests, - I needn't of been!
They were always quick in replying and agreed for me to take it to my own, local, mechanic (due to the distance between us), who diagnosed the problem part, - the quote was fair and accepted by Coopers that same day.
Ideally, the car was problem free - but these things happen, and if something isn't right this is how dealers should respond, - Thank you! Would buy from here again.

After having a very disappointing experience at another Somerset Land Rover "specialist" we found Coopers Cars had a vehicle that looked promising, we rang and arranged to see the vehicle giving Tony and his team only 30 mins notice. We got there to find several member of his team giving the car a last minute polish and were met by the friendly and professional owner. These guys approach was a breath of fresh air, no pushy sales talk, just good quality and well presented cars. After a test drive and completion of paperwork, we were able to drive the car away and back to Cornwall. A totally hassle free experience. I can't recommend Coopers Cars South West highly enough.

I was looking for a car for my 18yrs old son as his first motor. I came across Coopers browsing the many car ads on the net. I called and was given an appoitment to go and view the vehicle. First impressions, very Covid aware hand sanitisers, masks, etc were available for use. I did not feel compromised in any way. The set up is professional with all clean nice looking motors on their forecourt. The owner was friendly, and accomodating and there was no hard sell, just left us with the vehicle Ford Fiesta Zetec S to look it over, gave keys to test drive. The office had everything clean tidy and organised, all the vehicles history was all contained into a sealed wallet and we were offerd to review all the paperwork. Needless to say we decided to purchase the vehicle. We returned the following week and the car was immaculate presented. The guys were honest and upfront and nothing was too much trouble. I would definately use Coopers again and highly recommend them to others looking. In addition whilst we were there they had a lovely Mini Cooper that we knew our daughter would be delighted with as she had recently had to get rid of her 206 as costing so much in repairs and was looking, so we purchased it for her as a surprise, she is over the moon with the purchase again, clean and tidy throughout all the paperwork available and they even added a large bow and bunch of sunflowers to the car for her collection Coopers offer an absolutely first class service along with the 3 month recovery and 6 month garage warranty.
Thanks Coopers you did our family proud, as a mum I feel peace of mind knowing my kids are off and about in their vehicles that are going to be safe and reliable for them, let their adventures begin. ( They even have roaming lucky black cats called Nuts, Bolts and Porsha cute)

I was looking for a car for my 18yrs old son as his first motor. I came across Coopers browsing the many car ads on the net. I called and was given an appoitment to go and view the vehicle. First impressions, very Covid aware hand sanitisers, masks, etc were available for use. I did not feel compromised in any way. The set up is professional with all clean nice looking motors on their forecourt. The owner was friendly, and accomodating and there was no hard sell, just left us with the vehicle Ford Fiesta Zetec S to look it over, gave keys to test drive. The office had everything clean tidy and organised, all the vehicles history was all contained into a sealed wallet and we were offerd to review all the paperwork. Needless to say we decided to purchase the vehicle. We returned the following week and the car was immaculate presented. The guys were honest and upfront and nothing was too much trouble. I would definately use Coopers again and highly recommend them to others looking. In addition whilst we were there they had a lovely Mini Cooper that we knew our daughter would be delighted with as she had recently had to get rid of her 206 as costing so much in repairs and was looking, so we purchased it for her as a surprise, she is over the moon with the purchase again, clean and tidy throughout all the paperwork available and they even added a large bow and bunch of sunflowers to the car for her collection Coopers offer an absolutely first class service along with the 3 month recovery and 6 month garage warranty.
Thanks Coopers you did our family proud, as a mum I feel peace of mind knowing my kids are off and about in their vehicles that are going to be safe and reliable for them, let their adventures begin. ( They even have roaming lucky black cats called Nuts, Bolts and Porsha cute)

Always give their cars one final thorugh check over before letting them leave for piece of mind for both them and you. Even sell most cars with a warranty so should any problems arise they are more than happy to fix it. A very professional, friendly, family business. You won't find any pushy sales people here. We were left to look at the car and test drive it in our own time with no one standing over us. The staff were amenable and made appointments to suit us. This was really helpful given the fact that we were travelling some distance.
The car I purchased is immaculate and drives beautifully. I am certain that if any problems do arise, then Coopers Cars South West will do their utmost to help resolve those issues.
I would highly recommend if you are looking for a car from a professional, reputable business who go above and beyond to ensure you drive away in a quality used car that is road safe. A rare find these days in the minefield that is used car sales.

happy to let us have a test drive. My sister liked the car and was very happy to buy immediatly. Great to have 6 months warranty as most garages only offer 3 months. Joe made us very confident about every thing including sorting tax for us. We drove the car home there and then.

It's not perfect but then I'm not naive, i'm buying a second hand vehicle (naming no other reviews in particular) - yet for a second hand car it's been in tip-top condition so far. It was presented well, tidy inside and out and has been great to drive ever since. Sales guys were very helpful and to be honest the vehicle sold itself, no sales pressure needed! Will be happy to deal with Coopers again.
